The contemporary-chic and obtainable luxury furnishings of Camerich grace more than 60 countries to date—from Germany to Japan to Canada and beyond. Now, for the first time ever, Californians and West Coasters alike will get to experience a full-blown flagship store like that of its contemporaries abroad. The sprawling new space, superbly located between Robertson and Beverly Boulevards, gives savvy, design-aware patrons an alternative to the two primary concepts in interior furnishings: the unattainable and the ubiquitous. “We strive to create a luxurious look, feel and touch to our pieces but at a better value to our customers,” shares co-founder and interior designer Michael Lin. “We want Camerich Los Angeles to be very accessible.” Sleek, streamlined and sophisticated, the furnishings at Camerich embody the modern aesthetic, with uniquely shaped seating, occasional pops of color and highly textured fabric bringing touches of whimsy to an otherwise minimalistic collection. Co-owner Stephen Bianchi shares his resolve to keep the brand both relevant and timeless: “We are consistently striving to stay at the forefront of design. We have developed a team comprised of interior and product designers as well as architects who continually introduce new pieces to complement our ever-growing collection,” says Bianchi. “Our creations encompass everything modern but are classic enough to stand the test of time,” he adds.
“Camerich Los Angeles is the first flagship location in the U.S. and will build on the strong following already seen in the marketplace.”
What are the key influences in your work today?
By incorporating color and texture into my work, I am able to bring luxury to a broader audience. I am also inspired by fashion and reinventing common pieces, such as Marc Jacobs’ take on a cashmere hoodie.
